This is one we have in our box to match the Brood X hatch and other broods. The #8-#4 will match each of the species perfectly. As the hatch is in it's prime and towards the end, the #6 and #8 pattern will be more effective. This pattern has matched every 13 and 17 year Cicada brood there is and it's also a great topwater pattern for Smallmouth, Largemouth and Trout. The #6 is easy to cast with a 5 weight and is also a great pattern for Smallmouth Bass and a Hopper/Dropper Dry for trout out West. These guys float all day long.
