Simple yet incredibly effective. This fly gets things done when the Smallmouth bite is moody. When smallmouth just aren't moving these guys get the job done. Soft presentation enables you to sneak up on moody fish and entice them to bite. We also use this pattern as a trailer on double rigged streamer set ups. A Kreelex as a point fly and this fly trailing is incredibly effective especially on Trout. Tied with bead chain eyes and foxtail.
